Ease of access to toilet cistern for grey water use

Just an idea. Take the measurements of the toilet cistern's lid. Make one out of wood or hard plastic. Drill a large hole.

Use silicon to secure the funnel into the lid. I spray painted the funnel and toilet cistern lid green.

I also took a wire hanger bent it. Connected it to the toilet mechanism that regulates the flow of water into the bowl. So short up and down pulls lets minimum water through into the bowl. (2l)

I treat my grey water with a bio oxygen bleach powder.

Wire for flushing the loo protrudes out the top of the lid.
On the right you can see I removed the flush handle. Yes. I do not like
open cisterns. The green paint not needed for functioning. But we need
to make things look good to keep up our morale.
