Linking grey and rainwater tanks for garden irrigation
The current drought and Level 6B water restrictions have been a wake up call for everyone. Once this disaster is but a bad memory, long time water use / habits will be forever changed. Going forward few of us will allow precious grey water to leave our houses via the sewer system. Ways of linking your grey and rain water systems to irrigate your garden are going to be imperative and neccessary. More details on the laws and regulations, and how to do it can be found here:

Details from CToC on how to connect your grey water and rain water storage in order to irrigate your garden.
Linking your existing irrigation system to your greywater system Never pump greywater through pop-up or Microjet sprinklers. Even with advanced filtering, the system will clog in a matter of weeks or even days. This is why your system supplier will provide you with the necessary pipes, hoses and fittings to connect to suitable sprinklers.
