Message from CToC re: Newlands spring 2 Feb 2018

Good news, the Spring Water Collection point is now open 24 hours a day!

Kindly take note of the following:

• There is Disabled parking available inside the facility for vehicles with an official disabled parking disc (Max 2 people per vehicle). Any vehicle entering the facility will be subject to random searches.

• Please DO NOT park in Letterstedt road. Public parking is available across the road at Newlands Swimming pool. Please adhere to instructions given by our security and/or traffic department.

• A maximum of 25L per person per collection

• Please use containers that you are able to carry yourself – security are unable to assist with the carrying of containers as this takes them away from managing both the spring and the parking.

• Official “Assistants” (with official Newlands Spring Safety vests) have been employed to assist with transporting full containers back to vehicles (specifically for elderly and disabled)

• Please be patient and mindful of others. The queues may be long so come prepared to wait - don't forget your sunscreen!

• The collection point is a non-smoking area.
