Hi All. Built this, this morning to be able to recycle/reuse washing water. Top tank for rinse water.and bottom for washing and can split the water using the valves manually. So can do more than one load of washing reusing the first cycles water. Whites then colours and then what ever else. Piping and fitting purchased at Agrico. Washing machine pump seems strong enough. Its a samsung front loader. *** Thinking now... Use spade bits to drill the holes... I only thought of it now.
Adrian Williams Posting some pics so long... Inside each tank... Tank adapter... |

Adrian Williams This is the top part of the tanks... Water inlet... Its 2 pieces. 2 elbow bends... |
Adrian Williams That is the piece pushed inside the grey washing machine outlet hose and on the other end 20mm garden irrigation hose. And these are clamped. No leaks. |
Adrian Williams This is the rest of the build using 20mm hose and garden irrigation fittings.... These come from Afrigo... There are 2 valves which control which tank the water is going too. Washing machine pumps to the top tank yes as can be seen in the video. |
Adrian Williams I used garden hose so long... Not so flexible.... And i can essentially use the taps and fill the machine from here again...via the soap dish from either tank. |
Admin: Here is a link to exactly what he did with all the fittings detailed :
